A semi-solid collection of electrons and protons and neutrons and some other ons I am not aware of which move coherently in a weird form resembling Homo Sapiens more closely than any other commonly seen species! I come from a small town in India called Bharatpur in the state of Rajasthan, and studied at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur to do my undergrad in Computer Science and Engineering. An amazing place with its unique culture, it gave me, more important than anything else, the everlasting friendships. Another good thing that happened to me during this period was my exposure to some interesting problems in biology, a subject that had frightened me since school days. Nevertheless, this time, I couldn't escape the excitement of folding proteins and regulating genes through C programs, and that led me to this yet another wonderful place called UC San Diego. Life is going on, missing old friends, making new ones, cooking food, attending seminars, talking science,  watching corporate america, splashing water at beaches, and lot more.
